Issue/Introduction

Copy/Paste monitoring is not working in the Firefox Browser

Environment

DLP 15.8.x

DLP 16.x

Cause

The policy configured to monitor copy/paste had a protocol requirement, which prevented the policy from affecting Firefox

Resolution

 Clipboard monitoring within Firefox or IE does not include URL information, whereas Chrome and Edge does (using the DLP Extensions). The policy needs to be tuned to not require a URL /protocol information for FireFox and IE in order to trigger on copy/paste
