Issue/Introduction

Only the "Postgres" database is monitored, regardless of what is entered in the adapter configuration.

Resolution

Upgrade the Aria Operations for PostgreSQL Management Pack version 9.2.0 where this is resolved by following the steps below:

  1. Check compatibility of Aria Operations with the Management pack Product Interoperability Matrix
  2. Download this version on the VMware marketplace Aria Operations Management Pack for PostgreSQL 9.2.0
  3. Take a snapshot as per How to take a Snapshot of VMware Aria Operations
  4. Upgrade the Management Pack
    1. Log in to the VMware Aria Operations user interface with admin privileges.
    2. From the left menu, click Data Sources >> Integrations.
    3. Go to the Repository tab in the right pane, and then click Add.
    4. Browse to locate the temporary folder and select the PAK file.
    5. Select the Install the PAK file even if it is already installed check box.
    6. Select Reset Default Content, overwriting to a newer version provided by this update check box.
    7. Click Upload (The upload might take several minutes).
    8. Read and accept the EULA, and then click Next.
    9. When the upgrade is complete, click Finish.
    10. On the Manage Solutions page, click Test Connection to validate the connection.

NOTE: We advise upgrade to the latest version of Aria Operations Management Packs when possible, as they contain the most recent fixes.
