Issue/Introduction

When trying to install CP-OS-CENTOS8-20240508.tar.gpg getting the following error in ca_vapp_main.log:

YYYY Mmm dd hh:mm:ss <hostname> validateVappBackupArchive [ERROR] Failed to extract archive /tmp/.restoreVapp.tmp.6475/CP-OS-CENTOS8-20240508.tar - error #2

Environment

Vapp 14.4.2

Cause

By External link article reference.  this error#2 indicates an error to unpack the file using tar tool. Error 2 indicates fatal error that could be because of file was busy or for some reason that OS could not read the file correctly generating this fatal error in tar tool.

Resolution

transfer again the file CP-OS-CENTOS8-20240508.tar.gpg and deploy again.
