Issue/Introduction

Problem:

Event Integration connector went offline and does not come online until the SOI manager is restarted.

Environment:  

Event Integration connector with SOI 3.x

Cause: 

Bug in the EI Installer. The  log4j.xml was not created nor the entry for its location in the wrapper.conf file

Workaround:

1. Go to <EI-HOME>/Ifw folder.

2. Create a new folder resources.

3. Paste attached file "log4j.xml" under resources folder.

4. Open Ifw/conf/wrapper.conf file. Add below line below wrapper.java.additional.5 

wrapper.java.additional.6=-DIFW_RESOURCES="C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Event Integration\Ifw"

5. Start/restart EI Connector from services.msc
