Issue/Introduction

"vSphere Replication Persistent State Files” take  20% + space needed from replicated vm files and related to it configuration files.

Cause

Investigation and testing  done by engineering team found that psf files are  thickly provisioned on vsan datastores.

Resolution

Solution will be included in ESXi version 9.0. Starting from that version psf files will be thin provisioned. That will  significantly reduce their size.
