Agent on SaaS throws U02000313 ... error: 'Unexpected HTTP response status code 403'.

Issue/Introduction

When trying to start a newly installed agent against a SaaS system, the following error shows in the log:

U02000313 Communication error with partner 'saas_tenant.example.com/<unresolved>:443', error: 'Unexpected HTTP response status code 403'.

Environment

Automic SaaS, v24 Agent

Cause

IP is not whitelisted

Resolution

The agent server's public IP address must be provided to the Automic SaaS Support team so it can be whitelisted.
