Nvidia driver / hardware is stopped in guest OS when Horizon agent is present

Issue/Introduction

If the environment has VM's that are horizon deployed and VM's with vGPU enabled, the following will be seen:

• log into the windows VM, check device manager under "graphics devices" and see the vGPU disabled
•  Re-enable the vGPU device
•  Reboot the VM and see the vGPU device has been disabled again

VMware vCenter Server
VMware ESXi
Omnissa Horizon

Cause

The Horizon agent / Indirect Display Driver is disabling the vGPU on boot. 

Resolution

To stop the vGPU from being disabled on boot, either update or remove the Horizon agent / Indirect Display driver.
