log4cxx Error in the DBMaint.out Log

Issue/Introduction

Issue/Problem/Symptoms: 

The customer is receiving the following error in their DBMaint.out log:

log4cxx: No appender could be found for logger (PozFactory). 
log4cxx: Please initialize the log4cxx system properly. 
log4cxx: No appender could be found for logger (PozFactory). 
log4cxx: Please initialize the log4cxx system properly. 

 

Environment:  

CA Workload Automation AE r11.3.6 SP1,SP2,SP3,SP4

 

Cause: 

Improper permissions on $IGW_LOC/igateway.log file.

 

Resolution/Workaround:

Check permissions on $IGW_LOC/igateway.log. Make sure they are set to rw-r--r-- (644) and the log should be owned by root.
