After installing 10.8 service pack 1, the EM is unable to start

Issue/Introduction
The APM 10.8 sp1 installation completed successfully but upon Introscope EM start, we get the below ERROR:
Unrecognized VM option "UseParNewGC"
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit
Environment
DX APM 10.8
Resolution
1. Open the <EM-HOME>/Introscope_Enterprise_Manager.lax
2. Locate the lax.nl.java.option.additional property
3. Manually remove the argument:
-XX:+UseParNewGC
4. Save the file
5. Start the Introsocpe Enterprise Manager service.
