How to unregister a vCloud Usage Meter instance

Issue/Introduction

You had set up automatic reporting by registering your VMware Usage Meter instances within VMware Cloud Services Console or the VCF Business Services console . However, you wish to unregister the UM now as it is no longer operational.

 

Environment

• VMware Usage Meter 4.x
• VCF usage meter 9.x

Resolution

• On the VMware Cloud Services Console toolbar, navigate to Billing & Subscriptions > Usage Management > Usage Meters. You see a table with all registered vCloud Usage Meter instances Edit settings of a vCloud Usage Meter instance
• Click on three vertical eclipses next to the non-operational vCloud Usage Meter instance and click on unregister usage meter option.
  
  
• Similarly, we can unregister Usage Meter from VCF Business Services Console 
• If unregister of Usage Meter does not help with release of email subscriptions, kindly open a case with Broadcom Support to shut down the organization from backend. For more information, see Creating and managing Broadcom support cases
