Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 4.x

Cause

Changes to the fibre channel datastore were made after commissioning the hosts into SDDC Manager. Changing the name of the datastore after commissioning the hosts may also cause this issue.

Resolution

  • From the SDDC Manager UI, decommission the impacted ESXi hosts and then commission them back into SDDC Manager.
    • After this, create the WLD Cluster.
  • Otherwise, if the datastore name was changed, change it back to what it was at time of commissioning the host to SDDC.
