Answer: 

Machine Containers (DTS Containers) provide the means to set properties for a number of machines with a single configuration.

 

When the properties of a container are set, all machines in the DTS container inherit the customised container properties. Customised Machine Container properties override the machine properties assigned to each individual machine.
