Issue/Introduction

PF Exception 14 PSOD is thrown for an ESXi host that is a member of an NSX-vCenter cluster.

Cause

This PSOD is thrown when NSX-T fails to lookup a VDR (Virtually Distributed Router) port on an ESXi host. This can happen when a port is deleted in NSX, but the VDR does not get updated. The ESXi host is queried for the port data, however, the lookup fails because the port data empty. This causes the host to panic, leading to the PSOD.

Resolution

This is a known issue. A fix has been developed and will be available in a future release of NSX-T and VCF.
