Issue/Introduction

The Edge Cluster connection in the Workload Network settings for a Supervisor Cluster sits in a spinning state after updating the DNS or NTP settings when using NSX.

Cause

This can occur if the NSX manager cluster responsible for the NSX Edge cluster does not have a healthy connection to the compute manager.

Resolution

  1. Investigate the health of the compute manager.

  2. Verify the thumbprint for the vCenter is correct in the NSX UI.
