Issue/Introduction

Events are being generated by the Server similar to:

Processing of host [1234] took a long time [901860 ms]. 

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions

Cause

This Event was used to help identify which Agents had a large backlog the Server had difficulty processing. The original intent was for it to help identify which hosts would require manual intervention (ex: Resynchronization).

In newer versions of App Control Server this is now a False Positive. Hosts with large backlog might hit a timeout condition that causes this Event to generate, but does not prevent the hosts backlog from being processed.

Resolution

These Events can be ignored, as a future release of the Server (EPCB-21771) will prevent the Events from being displayed under these conditions.
