Spectrum backup failed to sync to secondary

Issue/Introduction

The error being seen is "Primary backup successful. Database synchronization has failed!" and on the fault tolerant SpectroSERVER we see the following in RPD.OUT

Sep 02 23:00:39 : Stopping the SpectroSERVER...FAILED. Response ticket : 
DATE OF THIS REQUEST

os errno string            = Operation not permitted

Environment

Dx NetOps Spectrum any version

Cause

Hung runtime files

Resolution

To resolve do the following on the fault tolerant SpectroSERVER:

• Stop processd 
• Go to $SPECROOT/lib/SDPM/runtime
• Move off all rtt files to a safe place
• Kick off processd and the startSS.pl again.
• Retest the backup
  • The sync to the secondary should work successfully
