1. Take a snapshot of the SDDC Manager VM.
2. SSH into the SDDC Manager VM and elevate to root.
3. Cleanup the VxRail bundle with the bundle cleanup utility./opt/vmware/vcf/lcm/lcm-app/bin/bundle_cleanup.py VXRAIL8-0-300-28709350VPTWN_VxRail-8-0-300-Composite-Upgrade-Slim-Package-for-7-0-x-zip
4. Download the VXRAIL8-0-300-28709350
bundle again from the SDDC Manager UI.
5. Follow the steps in KB 323978 to download the correct VxRail bundle.
This KB article also resolved the apply configuration update issue. We were unable to cancel the task even after reverting the snapshot. Above steps helped to resolve the issue
