We are trying to install the latest monthly platform patch. But getting a error and the install fails :

The patch install fails because the sudo command is failing due to a incorrect name resolution configuration.

Make sure the hostname on the appliance is set correctly and make sure it can be resolved, Check your DNS config or add the hostname to the local hosts file .
