Timesheet SELECT TASK Page facing performance degradation

Issue/Introduction

Select  Task performance is slow when there are investment with 10k+ resource assigned to it. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Login to a 16.2.3 Clarity machine which has atleast 10K+ resources, high number of timesheet records
2. Create a CIT and create atleast 4 instance of this CIT with the name as
   
   • Leave
   • Training 
   • Public Holiday
   • Training
3. Assign all 10k+ resources to the above 4 CIT instances (this works like Other Works in Classic)
4. For the CIT created in step 2, add a few business rules from the Blueprint
5. Login as a Timesheet user who is assigned to a few Tasks(Projects or any other Investments) apart from the above CIT instances
6. Navigate to My Timesheet page  
7. Add Tasks - and click on SELECT TASKS

Expected Results: The Select Task page loads in 2-3 seconds

Actual Results: The Select Task page loads in 20+seconds

Resolution

Workaround: Filter out the 4 CIT Instances which have all 10k resources assigned. 

• DE153408 is fixed in 16.3.0 (Targeted to release November 2024) and also backported to 16.2.3 patch 1
• Broadcom SAAS customers will have this fix included with 16.2.3 PROD upgrade
