Issue/Introduction

We want to implement DB2 monitoring on a (High Availability Disaster Recovery) HADR DB2 Cluster. The DB2 database will only be active on one server at a time, so need a solution to turn on the db2 monitoring node at the time. Is there any probe to achieve this with DX UIM?

Environment

  • DX UIM 23.4.*
  • DB2 probe 4.30 (released 2022)

Cause

Guidance

Resolution

Currently the DB2 probe or the cluster probe do not support  DB2 HADR (High Availability Disaster Recovery).

As of September 2024, we are working on the Enhancement of the DB2 probe to support this setting, there isn't any release date yet, however, this is actively being worked on and should be released soon.
