Datacom MUF fails on startup with: DB01917E - INVALID MIX OF OPTIONS

Issue/Introduction

Datacom/DB Multi-user (MUF) startup failed with:

DB01900I - ACCESS NOOPT,ALL 

DB01909E - * - ASTERISK POINTS NEAR ERROR 

DB01917E - INVALID MIX OF OPTIONS - CONFLICT WITH ACCESS OPTION 1

DB01900I - ACCESS OPTIMIZE,1-20,1000,1006,1007 

 

What is needed to correct this?

Cause

This DB01917E error occurred when the HISTORY system database was activated in the MUF startup options:

 

HISTORY  1007

 

Datacom/DB maintenance tightened up the rule that the MUF startup option ACCESS NOOPT must not specify any system database's in the DBID list. The current list of System Database ID number's are 1-20 & 1000-1020

Resolution

Replace "ACCESS NOOPT,ALL" with "ACCESS NOOPT,21-999" to exclude all system DBIDS
