Issue:

CA Datacom/DB Multi-user (MUF) startup failed with:

DB01900I - ACCESS NOOPT,ALL 

DB01909E - * - ASTERISK POINTS NEAR ERROR 

DB01917E - INVALID MIX OF OPTIONS - CONFLICT WITH ACCESS OPTION 1

DB01900I - ACCESS OPTIMIZE,1-20,1000,1006,1007 

 

Environment:

 

z/OS  CA Datacom/DB 15.0 with maintenance.

 

Cause:

 

CA Datacom/DB 15.0 maintenance tightened up the rule that the MUF startup option ACCESS NOOPT must not specify any system database in the DBID list. 

 

This DB01917E error occurred when the HISTORY system database was activated in the MUF startup options:

 

HISTORY  1007 

 

Resolution:

 

Instead of...

 

    ACCESS NOOPT,ALL

 

... exclude all system DBIDs with ...

 

    ACCESS NOOPT,21-999

 

Note:  ACCESS NOOPT has additional usage restrictions.
