ASM Monitors is not correctly reflecting Deleted ASM monitors in Metric View.
Once any monitor from ASM is deleted, APM's Infra agent keeps monitoring the deleted ASM monitors and generate false incidents.
To flush out the old deleted monitors from APM, the Infrastructure agents need to be restarted on regular basis.
DX APM ASM Monitor 24.x
By design APM deletes the metrics if there is no event data in the next configured interval (check period), but not immediately after the deletion of monitor, because APM doesn't get any data related to the deletion of the monitor in the event stream data. APM retains same data till next interval relevant to the monitor and deletes that if there is no data after that configured interval.
Enhancement request "US986040" has been created to enhance the ASMMonitor and is able to report deleted ASM monitors as inactive immediately. For an update contact Broadcom Support
