Issue/Introduction

Getting the following errors when trying to transform files from AFP to PCL:

ESF4113 File    nnn - STIM failed, RC=08   
ESF4132 File    nnnn XXXXXX(YYYYY    /UUUUU ) A2PC Transformation failed

Environment

Spool Java Transformers

Cause

The Java Transformer started task doesn't have enough priority so the connection from Spool times out.

Resolution

Ask the z/OS administrator to put the Java Transformer started task in a service class with higher dispatching priority.
