Issue/Introduction

After a successful fresh installation of Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.18, vIDM 3.3.7, and Aria Automation 8.18 using Easy Installer, login to Aria Automation is unsuccessful. The screen remains stuck at "Cloud Services Console."

Environment

Aria Automation: 8.18.x

Cause

The VM where the browser is running is not synchronized with the configured NTP servers in the infrastructure, including Aria Automation. The system time on the VM is ahead of the NTP server. This time mismatch causes authentication failures, preventing successful login.

Resolution

  • Set the system time properly on the VM.
  • Ensure time synchronization between the Windows VM and the NTP server.
  • Verify that the NTP settings are correctly configured in Aria Automation and the infrastructure.
  • Restart the browser and attempt to log in again.

Additional Information

You can configure time synchronization for your standalone or clustered VMware Aria Automation deployment by using the Network Time Protocol (NTP).
