Issue/Introduction

 "Require comments when rejecting items" greys out if you make any changes to "Show Violations," then set back to "Do Not Show violations."

Here is the use case of the issue.

Test 1:  Do not make any changes to "Show Violations …"

Checkbox is not greyed out and can be checked.

The campaign works as expected.  That is, a reviewer must add a comment before rejecting any item.

 

Test 2:  Make any changes to "Show Violations …", then set back to defaults

  1. Click "Require comments…", then uncheck "Require comments".  OK so far
  2. Click "Show Violations base on Audit Card"
  3. Click "Require comments…"
  4. Click "Do Not Show Violations"This unchecks the "Require comments …" checkbox.
    1. This unchecks the "Require comments …" checkbox.
    2. This should not happen
  5. Click "Require comments…"
    1. This time it doesn't allow you to select "Require comments…"
    2. It now only allows you to select this if there is an audit card specified
    3. The only way to get this back is to cancel the wizard and start over again.

As test 1 shows is possible, it is often desirable to require comments for rejections, even when this is not driven by violations.

Cause

Product defect, resolved with hotfix HF-DE607064-20240816-001.zip.

Resolution

A hotfix is available. Please open a support case describing the problem and request HF-DE607064-20240816-001.zip.

Additional Information

This HF can be applied to 14.5.0 and 14.5.1. When you upgrade to 14.5.1 you'll need to reapply this (same) HF.
