NetOps ActiveMQ encryption using default ports

Issue/Introduction

The default DX NetOps Performance Management Data Aggregator and Data Collector servers communicate over ports 61616, 61618, 61620 and 61622 through ActiveMQ.

When ActiveMQ is set up for encrypted communications following the Authenticate and Encrypt ActiveMQ Communication documentation topic the recommended ports to use are 61617, 61619, 61621 and 61623.

Can ActiveMQ encryption be configured to use the default ports, allowing for encrypted communications without having to have firewall ports changed?

Resolution

This capability is not currently possible within DX NetOps.
