Issue/Introduction
The 12.7 Agent PU is not being downloaded via LiveUpdate after upgrading to Control Compliance Suite 12.7.
The LiveUpdate workspace continues to show the 12.6 CCS_AGENT_PU 12.60.10100.1500
Resolution
CCS needs to rebuild the Live Update staging files for it to properly download the 12.7 CCS_AGENT_PU update.
Follow the below steps to download the 12.7 Agent PU.
Stop the Symantec Application Server Service. Verify it is fully stopped through Task Manager.
Rename the CCS folder at %ProgramData%\Symantec\CCS to say %ProgramData%\Symantec\CCS.orig
Restart the Symantec Application Server Service wait a couple of minutes for it to fully start.
At this point the LiveUpdate workspace should be blank.
Run the Download Live Updates job, making sure that everything is selected so we both the SCU and the Agent PU downloaded.
Navigate over to Admin -> LiveUpdate, run the "Check Updates" from the drop-down menu.
Once the Full Health and status job is completed if the Console does not auto refresh go ahead and refresh the console, now the 12.7 CCS_AGENT_PU should be available.
NOTE: If you previously modified the <installidir>\Reporting and Analytics\Application Server\LUConfig.xml config file to use a custom proxy server, you will need to update this file again as it will have been overwritten with the predefined settings.
