The NMS Maintenance license for web archive access has expired in IM - DX UIM

Issue/Introduction

When trying to download a probe in Infrastructure Manager (IM) the following pop up appears:

Warning: 

"The NMS Maintenance license for web archive acccess has expired"

Environment

DX UIM 20.4.* / 23.4.*

Cause

This error is due to old versions of IM pointing to an old Nimsoft Archive hosting server, however,  DX UIM is not covered or limited by any license check at all, so the message is not blocking. 

Resolution

Click OK and ignore the message and continue working as normal. The message disappears and you can download the probe. 

 

 

 

 

Additional Information

Upgrading IM to the latest versions shipped with newer version of DX UIM eliminates this message. 

 

To download the latest IM version: 

•  Navigate with a browser to: 

http://<uim_server_name_or_IP>/uimhome/installers.jsp

•  Then download and install IM:
