Issue/Introduction

We want to understand which tables are getting impacted with specific Jobs, as we want to understand which tables are getting impacted so that we can plan Data backup strategy accordingly.

Environment

Component: Clarity Job Scheduler

Release: all versions

Resolution

Follow below steps to configure Job tracing

1. Login to Clarity and navigate to security.logs
   
   
2. Navigate to Edit log configuration and make sure below are checked
   
   
   
3. Configure the below categories i.e. com.niku.njs.scheduler to trace
   
   
   
4. Navigate to Administration > Resources > Select Resource and enable Action Tracing for user
   
   
   
5. Make sure all the other schedule Jobs are paused
   
   
6. Run the job and traces will be captured in the bg-trace.xml
   
   
7. Once the requested information is captured, Turn-Off Tracing as it is resource exhaustive.
