We have observed while logging to EEM with EiamAdmin user we receive error as "EE_PW_USERLOCKED Account locked". We unlock EiamAdmin password with link below
And restarted SOI but again EiamAdmin accout is locked.
If we keep running EEM and stop SOi then EiamAdmin account is not locked.
How to solve this problem?
SOI 3.x, 4.x Integrated EEM
This can be problem with SOI manager or UI server. To solve this problem you have to perform steps as below
From SOI side please check following to exclude possibility of SOI Manager problem,
The procedure you followed is correct as per doc below
But in addition to that we want you to follow some more steps as below.
1. Stop "SOI manager" and "SOI UI" services
2. On SOI Manager do following...
a. Delete all files inside "\SOI\tomcat\work\Catalina" & "\SOI\tomcat\temp" folders
b. Follow document again
c. Edit "\SOI\tomcat\registry\topology\physical\node0\sor\eem.properties" file and change value for “eiam.query.password=”
(Copy this encrypted password from the steps you followed in above document)
d. On SOI manager open command prompt and navigate to ... "\CA\SOI\Tools"
And issue command
EncryptSAMCreds.bat <Your_EiamAdmin_Pass(Without <>)>
e. Edit .. "\SOI\tomcat\webapps\sam\eem-config.xml" and copy password from step under block of data
Note: Change only 'bold' portion
f. Update "\SOI\tomcat\custom\eem-config.xml" file with the new encrypted password
3. Now start Only "CA SAM Application Server" and "CA UFC Broker" services on SOI Server and see if this still blocking EiamAdmin on EEM.
4. On UI Server
a. Take a backup of following files to some other location
b. Use EncryptSAMCreds.bat located in "CA\SOI\Tools\" to generate encrypted password as
c. Update above 2 files with this encrypted password string
5. Start UI Services
