Choosing a port for Harvest Agent

Issue/Introduction

When installing the harvest agent and selecting the full installation, a port is requested. Which port is this part of the installation referring to?

Harvest Software Change Manager all versions

Resolution

The SCM Agent is a listener application, so a port number needs to be provided to let it know where to listen for incoming communications.  It can be any port number you want except it should not be port 5101, or any port in your direct connect port range for PEC if you have one.
