Windows Services with addition VSE's not starting after DEVTEST 10.8 upgrade from 10.7.2sp2

Issue/Introduction

DevTest 10.7.2 sp2 environment has 20 additional VSE Services.  

VirtualServiceEnvironmentService1.exe 

VirtualServiceEnvironmentService2 .exe   ....., etc

After upgrade in place  to 10.8,  when starting the VSE's we are seeing the below error pop up. 

 

 

Environment

DevTest 10.8

Cause

After upgrade, the additional VSEs are retained from 10.7.2 and not compatible to run with Java 17. 

Resolution

Replace the retained 10.7.2 VSE executable launchers with the one which we ship in DEVTEST-HOME/bin/additional_launchers  folder 

Rename the VSE Services accordingly.
