Unable to deploy NSX manager - Datastore: "Error in retrieving data. Refresh to try again"

Issue/Introduction

• In the Add Appliance UI wizard, the Compute Manager selection screen remains blank.
  
• The Datastore option displays the following error: "Error in retrieving data. Refresh to try again."

 

• In System -> Compute Manager, the vCenter connection status shows as down.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

Compute Manager connectivity is down. NSX manager is unable to retrieve the inventory details

Resolution

• Review Compute Manager status and fix the connection.
• Once the connection issue is solved proceed with the NSX manager deployment
