Issue/Introduction

Unable to replace NSX Edge node in a Federation environment and received the following error message

Found errors in the request. Please refer to the related errors for details. (Error code: 15000)
[Fabric] Transport node /infra/sites/default/enforcement-points/default/edge-transport-node/<uuid> must have RTEP configured if there exists stretched logical router associated with edge cluster <uuid>. (Error code: 15027)

Cause

This is caused by the RTEP configuration is missing on the Edge node trying to replace with.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to NSX Manager UI > System > Nodes > Edge Transport Nodes
  2. Click on the Edge node > Tunnels tab > Configure the Remote Tunnel Endpoint
