Issue/Introduction

Can SiteMinder integration with Mobile TOTP POC (paired with Mobile Authenticator) also work with Microsoft Mobile Authenticator as this is the only one available on Company managed Apple devices?

Resolution

Mobile OTP is proprietary tool which uses Cryptographic camouflaged for security purposes and is more secure than the TOTP available on the marketplace.  It will not work with the Microsoft Authenticator as the implementation is different. Both uses the OATH protocol underneath but Advanced Authentication Mobile OTP also implements the Cryptographic camouflaged concept so they are not compatible with each other. You will not be able to add the TOTP cred in Microsoft Authenticator app or vice versa.
