Build Fails - Cannot open file 'mfc120.lib'

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to CA Plex 7.3, try to recompile fails with message - cannot open file 'mfc120.lib'.

Environment

CA Plex 7.3

Resolution

CA Plex 7.3.0 should NOT reference the earlier release of MFC library MFC120.lib.

Few things to consider that may lead to the reported error:

• Generate/Build all the C++ objects with Plex 7.3.0
• Do not mix any Plex objects built from earlier release of Plex
• Is there any external pre-built C++ libraries that were built with earlier release of Visual Studio (Generate & Build Options -> System Properties -> 32-Bit C++ Build)?
