Issue/Introduction

vSphere Cluster Services status shows unhealthy

In /var/log/vmware/vsphere-ui/logs/vsphere_client_virgo.log

Caused by: com.vmware.vim.vmomi.client.exception.VlsiCertificateException: Server certificate chain is not trusted and thumbprint verification is not configured
Caused by: com.vmware.vim.vmomi.client.exception.SslException: com.vmware.vim.vmomi.core.exception.CertificateValidationException: Server certificate chain is not trusted and thumbprint verification is not configured

 

Cause

The trust mismatch between the lookupservice and the vCenter Machine SSL certificate.

Resolution

Need to run lsdoctor tool to fix the thumbprint mismatch issue, Refer : https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/320837/using-the-lsdoctor-tool.html

Command  : python lsdoctor.py -t
