Error: 'More than one row with the given identifier was found: <uuid>' when trying to view Virtual Machines in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

• Open an Organizational VDC in VMware Cloud Director.
• Click on Virtual Machines inside the Organizational VDC and you see the error:
  
  [ ########-####-####-####-############] org.hibernate.HibernateException: More than one row with the given identifier was found: ########-####-####-####-############, for class: com.vmware.vcloud.common.model.VAppVmModel - More than one row with the given identifier was found: ########-####-####-####-############, for class: com.vmware.vcloud.common.model.VAppVmModel

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.1.1

Cause

VMware Cloud Director have duplicate rows for one or more virtual Machines inside the database. The duplicate rows in those tables are prompting the error while trying to view all the virtual machines across Organizational VDC.
