Issue/Introduction

Aria Operations Upgrade Failed from 8.12 to newer version. With Error: FailedThe PAK action "new_validate" script "source ./pak_python_wrapper.sh validate.py" failed

Environment

Aria Operations 8.12.x

Cause

In the casa.db.script under "INSERT INTO VERSION VALUES" for each line where Cloud Proxy information should be found "--CENSORED--" is in its place.

Example:

INSERT INTO VERSION VALUES
---CENSORED---
---CENSORED---
---CENSORED---
---CENSORED---

Resolution

1. Log in to the Aria Operations primary node as root via SSH or vSphere console
2. Run the following grep command.
   grep "--CENSORED--" /storage/db/casa/webapp/hsqldb/casa.db.script

3. If the grep command returns results, use the documentation below to replace the Cloud Proxy.
