VMware Aria Operations Chargeback plugin registration fails when there are apiFilters in VCD which have spaces in their names

Issue/Introduction

Unable to register Aria Operations Plugin in vCD

Reason: Fail to process external endpoint for proxy in vCloud: unable to process External Endpoint for proxy process in VCD.

Environment

VMware vCloud Director 10.5.1 and above

VMware Aria Operations 8.16 and above

Cause

A previously deleted, old external service (e.g. EMC Backup Service) did not fully clean up its resources.  The external service was left behind with an invalid name in the database

Resolution

This requires analysis on the Cloud Director database to resolve.

Please reproduce the issue, gather a log bundle and database backup from Cloud Director.  Then, open an SR referencing this KB and upload the log bundle and database to the SR for analysis.
