Modern Roadmap Start column "sort" not working

Issue/Introduction

In Roadmaps when you click on the Start column and the little arrow appears to sort by oldest to newest or vice versa. Seems impacted when the Roadmap is grouped by something. Only under certain conditions does this happen. You can sort on Finish column. Tested other fields like Duration and Description and seems only Roadmap Name and ID display the behavior.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Navigate to Roadmaps, grid view  in the Modern UX
2. Add the Start and Finish columns to the view
3. Group by Roadmap Name (refresh page)
4. Click the column header to sort Finish
5. Click the column header to sort Start

Expected Results: Sort on the Start column in Roadmaps
Actual Results: Unable sort on the Start column in Roadmaps
Workaround: None

Cause

This was analyzed through DE155173

Resolution

This functionality has been updated in Clarity 16.3.0 release and is targeted for the end of 2024.

Clarity Release and Support Lifecycle Dates

As of 16.3.0 sorting will be disabled on all fields when GroupedBy as sorting was never supported.

The rows remain in the same sort order that is used before you entered Group By mode. The groups appear in ascending sorted order. You cannot change the sort order or can choose which columns to show or hide.
