Issue/Introduction

There is an issue with accessing a couple of Dashboards directly from the Dashboard Home location.

• Go to Operations/Dashboards/Home
• Click on "VM Performance", an Error "Cannot find a dashboard with id ...." will appear.

The issue only appears on the following dashboards from the Dashboard Launchpad:

• VM Performance
• VM Capacity

Aria Operations 8.18

Cause

In Aria Operations 8.18, a couple of dashboards have been replaced.  New dashboard ids were given.  However, the link to the new dashboards didn't get updated and is still referencing the existing one from prior release.  The error occurs since the existing dashboard id is no longer valid.

Resolution

The Engineer team is working on the fix to be provided in a future release.

Meanwhile, a workaround is to access these two dashboards directly:

• Sign in with local admin user > go to Operations/Dashboards/Manage
• Search for the dashboard, i.e. "VM Performance" and select it.
• The correct dashboard will display properly.
