Issue/Introduction

When attempting to activate management packs for:

• Microsoft Azure
• AWS
• Google Cloud

You may see a a banner over the management pack tile displaying NPC Add-On

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

When attempting to activate AWS, Azure, or Google Management packs in Aria Operations, the user interface will show the following message:

This account type requires NPC Add-On. Update your license to monitor your account.

The VMware Aria Universal Suite (any edition) license for vRealize/Aria Operations, requires an add-on on the license for public cloud accounts to monitor AWS, Azure, and Google public cloud environments.

You must contact your sales team to inquire about this add-on license.
