Web Viewer 12.1 logon to View receives CAHADOP05 "Password not valid for userid"

Issue/Introduction

After installing Web Viewer 12.1 then upgrading to build 241 when I attempt a logon to my View 14.0 repository I am receiving a CAHADOP05 "Password not valid for userid" error even though I am specifying my correct USERID and PASSWORD logon credentials.

My View 14.0 repository is currently configured with SECURITY=INTERNAL. 

Environment

z/OS, View, 14.0, web viewer 12.1, dras, logon, 

Resolution

- Ran SARINIT to change View SECURITY option from INTERNAL to LOGON.

LOGON uses your external security product to verify the USERID/PASSWORD, but no other security checks are performed.

- Result: CAHADOP05 "Password not valid for userid" problem was RESOLVED!
