Issue/Introduction

After a network interruption, the server roles R and O are not assigned to any WP process.

This can lead to activities not being deactivated and reports not being written.

Environment

Automic Automation Engine 21.0.8 and below

Cause

Defect.

Resolution

Server roles are not processed by any WP after network interruption

Public description EN:
A problem has been fixed where a server role was lost after a network interruption.

There are two possible workarounds:

  • Perform a PWP switch, if a role is not processed anymore OR
  • Do not use DWPs then the issue will not happen
