Task Finish Date cannot be updated

Issue/Introduction

When the project manager tries to update the task finish date to an earlier date, the date reverts back. Upon review, there is no actuals in future, no actual thru date in future, and everything else on the project/task/team looks as expected.

I.e. Task Finish is set to 12/31/2027 whilst it should have been 12/31/2024. How to reset it back?

Resolution

Provided there are no actuals or other data that could cause this, try the below workaround:

1. Open the project in OWB or MSP
2. Save the project back to Clarity without any changes
