Received HTTP status code 429 errors in oc.log when RATE_LIMIT_COUNT_PER_SECOND is set to 10

Issue/Introduction

Seeing "Received HTTP status code 429" errors in oc.log but we have RATE_LIMIT_COUNT_PER_SECOND is set to 10 so this should not be happening.

Environment

DX NetOps Virtual Network assurance all supported releases

Cause

If you are doing other API requests form the same ip agains teh same origanization, these all count towards the rate limit.

Resolution

Examine you API usage and adjust accordingly
