Security Intelligence Visualization page is throwing an error sporadically when filtered using NTA "Remote Service" events

Issue/Introduction

On the Suspicious traffic page on Firefox browser, when we filter for Remote Service Events and click on a hyperlink to view the results in the Visualization canvas, we see an error.

Error strip shows that the filter applied on the canvas was not processable : 

HTTP failure for "napp/api/v1/intelligence/visualization/compute-flow-topology"
 

 

Environment

This can affect any NAPP version

Cause

Since failure is sporadic and only see in Firefox, we can only speculate that a Firefox internal exception crashed the current stack. 

Resolution

Issue is not seen on Chrome/Edge browser
