Issue/Introduction

There is no clear documentation about syntax for the input file for the etautil command with -f flag.

Resolution

The following command is an example to add a new UNIX v2 endpoint:

Command:

etautil -d IM -u etaadmin -p example_etaadmin_password -DYN -f ./test.txt

File ./test.txt:

add 'eTNamespaceName=UNIX v2' eTDYNDirectory eTDYNDirectoryName='example_endpoint_name' eTDYNHost='example_endpoint_hostname_or_ip' eTDYNUser='example_root' eTDYNPassword='example_root_password' eTDYN-str-multi-ca-10='\[root@example_endpoint_hostname ~\]#( )'
